We present an approach for trapping cold atoms in a 2D optical trap array generated with novel 4f filtering scheme and custom transmission mask without any active device. The can be used to generate arrays of bright or dark traps, both simultaneously single wavelength forming two-species traps. demonstrate the design by creating 1225 sites, where Cs are loaded into regions near-zero intensity approximately Gaussian profile trap. Moreover, we simple solution problem out-of-focus trapped atoms, which occurs due Talbot effect periodic lattices. We describe the experimental realization of a dynamical optical trap for atoms: the Rotating Off-resonant Dipole Optical (RODiO) Trap. A blue detuned circularly scanned laser beam creates a time averaged ;;box" for the atoms.
